Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for supplying manufacturing with the necessary programs and fixture for the manufacture of production and customer parts. Analyze engineering detail drawings for standardization, material, heat treatment and elements of design in relation to programming and applying standard data for times for NC/CNC machines. Specify definite pattern on a program sheet for the way a part will be machined. Develop necessary instruction information and make drawings indicating where to place the work piece on the machine and how to hold it. Design fixtures in order to manufacture production and customer parts. Assist other persons to make sure the programming time, tape punching and programming is correct. Create routings according to TRUMPF standards
Make manual changes to machine code. Assure the actual setup, cycle and secondary times are reflected properly in the SAP routing. Operate machining center when operators are absent. Sheet Metal Fabrication experiences preferred but not required.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM preferred. Minimum 2 year technical school degree or suitable combination of education and work experience.
