Responsibilities
•Responsible for the guest experience that the activities cast members and Master of Ceremonies deliver in appointed venues through the various entertainment programs around the resort
•Partner with several areas within entertainment and resort-wide to coordinate weekly offerings and deliver unique and enriching cultural guest experiences
•Responsible for upholding the cultural aspect of the entertainment offerings in collaboration with Resort Cultural Advisor
•Act as a liaison between local Artisans and their specific offerings in the Pau Hana (Community Hall)
•Participate in auditions, interviews and selection process of Cast as required
•Responsible for the scheduling and managing of labor resources dedicated to resort programs
•Ensure on-the-job training for activities cast members and Master of Ceremonies
•Provide coaching, recognition and feedback for activities cast members and Master of Ceremonies and manage personnel files accordingly in partnership with HR
•Responsible for managing and adhering to assigned departmental budget
•Purchase and control of inventory supplies
•Oversee and maintain Show Integrity Standards for all offerings
•Oversee Show Quality Standards in the Pau Hana (Community Hall) venue
•Assist with special resort activities including conventions, weddings, filming, photo shoots etc… requiring entertainment involvement and support
•Assist with specific duties as instructed by the Entertainment Programming Manager and/or Entertainment Director
•Coordinate/execute emergency duties as specified in the resort emergency plan
Basic Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years of experience in activities/entertainment for families
•Minimum 1-2 years management experience
•Demonstrated leadership skills to ensure Cast Excellence and Guest Satisfaction
•Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
•Demonstrated strong Guest Service skills
Preferred Qualifications
•2+ years management experience
•Experience and knowledge of the Hospitality Industry
•Fluency in the Japanese language
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or Masters degree in Entertainment Management or Hospitality Management
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
