JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will provide program management and project analysis support to MARCORSYSCOM by applying knowledge of business principles and program management techniques. Individual will be responsible for tracking specified programs compliance with various Federal and DoD policies and regulations. He/She will be responsible for analyzing information presented at determination meetings and make recommendations regarding the level of oversight required for each program briefed. Will also review programs for Clinger Cohen Act (CCA) compliance and notifies the Government of any expected breaches. Candidate will also analyze programs to determine compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance and will determine appropriate SME’s for program oversight. Additional responsibilities may also include reviewing documentation to determine if programs meet specified thresholds for various Federal and OD regulatory reporting requirements. Entering these programs in to a SharePoint knowledge management environment and tracking the reporting status of these programs. Participating in establish project determination meetings, capturing all elements of decisions made during the meetings, drafting detailed notes and drafting the final determination letters. Tracking IT, AT and RTP training for employees across MARCORSYSCOM. May be responsible for determining methods and procedures on new assignments, may serve in a lead role and provide guidance to other personnel. Strong organizational, time management, leadership, verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of program management experience are required. High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of overall program management experience; including two (2) years providing acquisition support to direct customer at Program Office level may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
- Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Demonstrated experience in interacting and supporting multiple clients with high visibility programs and multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge in Government Statement of Works (SOWs)
- Working knowledge of program management tools and scheduling techniques is essential.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to accomplish work independently without considerable direction yet be comfortable as part of team of other contractors and Government personnel.
- Excellent communication skills.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
