The selected individual will manage environmental projects, primarily related to air quality permitting and compliance, and other related tasks for industrial clients in petrochemical, refining, and other industries. In addition to technical skills, this position requires excellent interpersonal communication, project management, and business development skills.
Knowledgeable and experienced in air permitting for New Source Review, Title V, Flexible Permits, Standard Permits, and Permit-by-Rule (PBR) for all source categories, including general industrial facilities and oil and gas industry.
Air permitting strategy; and regulatory review and compliance with Federal, state and local regulations.
Knowledge of air dispersion modeling (SCREEN; AERMOD).
Evaluate air pollution control technology requirements.
Provide high quality technical and regulatory services.
Effectively manage multiple Air Quality projects.
Occasional travel will be expected.
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least (7) seven years of air quality experience.
Candidate must have prior experience managing air quality permitting and/or air quality regulation compliance projects in Texas.
Must have experience with New Source Review air permitting, Permits By Rule, Title V permitting, MACT and PSD.
Must have experience in CAA regulations, control technologies, air permitting and regulator/client/stakeholder interaction.
Must have strong oral presentation skills, strong written communication skills, and strong math skills.
Ability to cultivate existing relationship with clients.
Ability to grow existing relationships and pursue new business opportunities for Weston.
Ability to direct efforts of and mentor junior staff
Professional Engineer license desired.
