Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Project Controls Analyst located in Houston, Texas through February 15, 2013.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Develop the WBS, CBS, OBS with other prject team members.
Work with Finance to ensure established accounting processes, systems, and procedures are followed.
Implement and manage project controls processes, systems, and procedures.
Administer Cost Engineering impacted management of change, including budget transfers and contingency drawdown.
Generate integrated project progress, performance, & forecast reports.
Work with other project team members to identify and resolve CE issues.
Work with Project Contracting and Cost Estimating & Budgeting to estimate changes and claims
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or Business related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years experience in project controls for upstream and/or downstream oil and gas projects.
Ability to use and maintain comprehensive cost management systems to enhance cost reporting methods and to generate and analyze reports on a regular basis.
Prior experience on a multi-functional project team on a small to medium upstream oil and gas capital project, and ability to interact with budget owners, contract admin, and contractors, to understand project scope.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Ten (10) years experience in project controls for upstream and/or downstream oil and gas projects.
