Job Title: Project Coordinator (National Accounts Program Engineer)

Basic Functions:
Complete program support responsibilities for National Accounts clients relating to the coordination of shop drawings/submittals, fabrication documents, and material orders.

Material, inventory and sales order management

Project schedule maintenance and communication

Use AutoCad, Inventor and Revit software to create and manage project documents.

Review and modify shop/fabrication drawings and other submittal documents as needed

Meet scheduled completion dates as outlined by the program schedule

Participate in SOP formulation and compliance

Provide support to sales and estimating for new and ongoing National Accounts.

Coordinate outside resources as needed to achieve project delivery goals.

Manage document download, printing and storage.

Coordinate project information/documentation distribution, storage, and retrieval.

Coordinate software and data interface between multiple plant locations and departments

Work directly with clients on design or cost initiatives under the direction of our sales consultants

Manage the development of shop drawing plans, elevations, wall sections and details for architectural glazing products using estimates, take-offs, project specifications, and/or architectural and structural drawings

Revise drawings as required, per red line mark ups and written directions

Create and manage fabrication documents from the approved shop drawings or inputs provided

Create and manage tag drawings for packing and installation

Create material order paperwork, quantifying glass, aluminum parts, steel, etc.

Meet submission & fabrication schedules

Assist PM’s with coordinating materials and shipments through product installation

Support and train other team members as needed

Minimum four (4) year B.S. Degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.

Excellent math and trigonometry skills required

Must be capable of reading architectural plans and structural drawings

Must be functional in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel/Word/Project

Functional knowledge of Revit or Inventor is a plus

Experience with AlphaCam/CNC programming and panel fabrication documents a plus

Experience in Commercial Glazing, Curtainwall or Skylight industry is a plus

Experience in supporting estimating and material coordination

Must be self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to function in a team environment

Travel throughout North America may be required

Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
