The role of Project Coordinator is to support and assist in the implementation and management of projects initiated by Atos internally or on behalf of its customers.
Prepares, gains management approval of and manages to the assigned project budget.
Interfaces with Operations or Finance Management to support timely expense recognition or accruals.
Assists in the development of project/program plans
May assist in sales activities and client relationships.
Coordinates project management activities needed for the development and delivery of project plan, schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation. Assists in the setup of project tracking tools for budget, resource and milestone adherence.
Provides functional or business practice support on project or program. Support may include execution of defined tasks, communications distribution, logistics, travel plans, meeting minutes.
Assists in continuous improvement activities.
Seeks advice from more senior level PM resources on problem areas.
Identifies technical and non technical problems/risk to project and takes appropriate steps to solve or escalate appropriately.
Responsible for following guidelines and processes documented in Project Management methodology.
Provides complete, timely, and accurate reports to gauge the progress of the project. Ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Subjective assessments will be provided honestly, based upon sound judgment, and held to commonly accepted project management criterion.
Prepares final reports describing overall performance and conducts Lessons learned sessions to document project successes and improvement areas.
Basic Microsoft Project Skills.
Ability to demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of specialized field or multiple disciplines to ensure successful completion of complex assignments.
Applies knowledge of fundamental project management and technical concepts, practices, and procedures.
Demonstrates ability to efficiently and effectively find answers to questions. Establishes key contacts and leverages existing knowledge and tools to complete assignments.
Gathers facts, asks appropriate questions to resolve problems based on sound judgment. Knows when and how to escalate issues in a professional manner. Takes responsibility and sound risks when appropriate.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner.

Proactively reports project information. Works effectively with appropriate Project Management tools to complete tasks within the defined guidelines, parameters and budget.
