SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The individual will be responsible for acting as the project coordinator for several product development projects, as required, at any given time. She-he will work side by side with the Project Managers, who lead a group of highly skilled & multi-discipline team members toward the successful execution of business objectives. Where the Project Manager is more focused on the team members in regards to the final product, the Project Coordinator will assist team members with processes & documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
In addition to being able to perform all the functions required of the P1 – Associate Product Development Analyst & the P2 – Product Development Analyst.

This position will also be required to perform the following functions:
Provide coaching to other Project Coordinators at all levels.
Recommend & develop process improvements.
Recommend & develop new process tools.
Actively contribute to the creation & management of the project schedule.
Ability to lead-manage a small scope project.
Development & ownership of the project’s SharePoint site.
Actively contribute to the financial management of the project with such things as forecasting, accruals, & actuals.
Coordinate procurement process to include tracking Purchase Orders.
Ability to coordinate, maintain & track Statements of Work.
In addition this position may manage contractor deliverables.
Support management of Contractors.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC-NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties deemed necessary as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
BS-BA degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
Evidence of some Process Improvement & Project Management education.

Experience:
4+ years of experience in a project coordination-administration position.

Preferred Skills-Qualifications:
Experience of structured product development processes.
Medical device & / or product development background required with experience of FDA Design Control, specifically Design History File (DHF) documentation requirements.
Demonstrate proficiency of the Agile Change Order Process (ECO) & the Agile software.
Experience with issue & defect tracking systems.
Knowledgeable in both the product line & the technical aspect of the products.
Ability to obtain hospital entry credentials as required.

Ability to work with team & all cross-functional departments to complete project deliverables.

Flexibility in managing change in a dynamic environment.

Other Skills:
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, etc.), Agile, SharePoint, Internet, DART, ReqPro, PVCS, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office conditions in a fast-paced environment travel up to 20%.
