The Project Coordinator will provide support to the Gas Engine Platform Team and own processes to drive Operational Excellence, initially in the areas of team coordination and program management. The Project Coordinator will be a critical member of the team by providing tactical support in strategic areas. The Project Coordinator will have growth opportunities to expand responsibility by assisting with development of Commercial Operations and Services processes.
In addition, you will:
Manage and update cross-functional integrated schedule in MS Project, collect input from the teams, perform checks and integrate into the Master Schedule Appropriately identify and represent interdependencies of work streams and milestones
Create and carry out a process for tracking and reporting actual progress versus plan; identify implications of delay, suggest and drive risk mitigation actions
Development of Tollgate material and presentations Prepare for and participate in program reviews
Manage team calendar including operating reviews and collaboration weeks
Quality and Compliance
Own the application of the GE Energy Quality Management Process (QMS) for the program Define and monitor key metrics to measure compliance Identify processes requiring standard operating procedures; manage process of writing and implementing procedures
Track requirements and status of quality and compliance training; collaborate with the quality and compliance functions in the business teams
Manage data security processes including folder access right Create process for granting access and periodically reviewing access Ensure processes comply with GE Data Security policy
Coordination & Documentation
Serve as the official recorder for key meetings (action items, reports, attendance)
Facilitate the onboarding processes for new team members, including IT and office needs
Interface with indirect sourcing to facilitate indirect purchases required by the team
Manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings with internal and external parties
Manage special projects and events, such as meetings, workout and events
Reconcile Travel & Living accounts, purchasing card statements and T&L accounts on a timely periodic basis
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology (OR an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience)

Experience in making complex domestic & international travel and meeting arrangements
Skilled in MS-Office, especially strong in Excel and Project High energy, positive outlook, and desire to make positive changes
New product introduction experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a strong focus on data-driven decision making
Cross-functional experience and experience working across cultures, teams and time zones with ability to handle multiple tasks in compressed timeframes
Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and on budget
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (GE employees only)
Work proactively to make suggestions and anticipate needs
Proven ability to work with senior level executives, both internal and external
Ability to ensure security of confidential information
Accurate and attentive to detail, superior writing and editing skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Adaptable / flexible – being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situation
High degree of professionalism in both oral and written communication
Extensive follow-up, attention to detail and accuracy
