The Project Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of the tasks associated with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe's Health System strategic plan and special projects as designated by the Operations Director and/or the Clinical Director of Health Systems. The Project Coordinator assists the Operations Director and/or the Clinical Director of Health Systems in planning activities to assure contract deliverables and other work are produced timely and in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

(Consideration may be given for equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience)

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
One year of project development/management experience
Knowledge of KIT Programs
Knowledge of data collections and interpretations
Advance knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software programs
Ability to read and understand standard business documentation (e.g. contract language, grants)
Experience in grant reporting
Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules
Good oral and written communication skills
Valid Alaska Driver's license

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
Three years of project development/management experience
Knowledge and experience working with Alaska Native/American Indian people


Research, analyze, report and communicate on assigned project matters
Monitor project deliverables and timelines, notify the Operations Director when issues arise, and make adjustments, as needed
Collaborate with staff for specific task assignments
Serve as a resource for staff and external customers on project matters
Develop reports and other deliverables as assigned by the Operations Director
Provide regular written and oral reports of activity for projects as needed
Develop, compile and analyze reports. Provide final reports and identified trends to the Operations Director.
Performs other duties as assigned
