Sierra Nevada Corporation's Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit in Centennial, CO is continuing to grow and needs your help. SNC provides airborne ISR capability to the Department of Defense as well as other government agencies and International customers.
Coordinates engineering research, design, development and action, and other technical and operational services to support electronic and mechanical modifications of aircraft. Establishes specifications for flight simulators and related training equipment and ensures initial certification of the simulators. Coordinates with vendors for the fabrication of equipment. Participates in technical presentations to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), airlines, and vendors as required and stays abreast of method and equipment advances. Ensures maintenance and revision of aircraft documentation including drawings, software, program listings, and parts lists.
This includes coordination between all facets: engineering, production, vendors, sub-contractors, buyers, and others as directed by the programs PM. The Integration Engineer is also responsible for identifying and tracking interdependencies between the various organizations involved in a program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Function as single point of contact between program management, engineering, production, procurement and vendors.
Coordination with as directed by the program’s PM: engineering, production, vendors, sub-contractors, buyers, and other organizations as required
Interfaces with customers as directed by the program's PM to generate SOW, assist with proposal documentation, BOM, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of customer requirements.
Identification and tracking of interdependencies and schedule impacts to include tracking of aircraft modification parts
Tracking and status for CDRL/SDRL deliverables
Coordination for certification with SNC certification department and outside entities as directed by the PM (including DERs, DARs, and the MCO/ACO
BS/BA in an engineering/technical or related field and or military aircraft experience.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret level security clearance.
