The Environment Division of ARCADIS is seeking an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to support projects out of the Ida|
- ho Springs, ID area. The Project Environmental Engineer will be supporting the Construction and Environmental Services group. This position will lead a team of engineers, scientists and technicians in the performance of mine closure construction oversight and quality control activities. Role will also include frequent interaction with agency representatives. Candidate will be responsible for project engineering quality control and performance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the design of in situ soil and groundwater treatment systems using both established and innovative technologies.
Participate in the RI/FS process for regional superfund sites, and plan and manage field construction activities related to the selected remedy.
Operate and maintain existing remediation systems, conduct and evaluate system performance monitoring, troubleshoot and optimize treatment system operation as necessary.
- Prepare engineering cost estimates and assist with mine closure and remedial alternatives evaluations.
- Provide engineering and construction oversight for a variety of remediation applications, ensuring project adherence to company/client expectations for Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), data management, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Years of Experience
Bachelors in Environmental Engineering or related field
- 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER required.
8-11 + years of experience preferred.
