Reporting to a project executive, this position performs a variety of essential planning, programming, and design focused tasks that supports the program management activities of a project team. Compromised of a project executive, project managers and analysts, the project team performs consulting or project management assignments for one or more of the following client types: campus housing, intercollegiate athletics, campus recreation, student unions, arenas, stadiums, campus edge developments, independent and charter schools, or community recreation. Client deliverables for consulting services include master planning activities, site analyses, needs assessments, program planning, feasibility studies, financial modeling, and market analyses. Client deliverables for project management assignments include assisting with cost estimating, design and constructibility reviews, budget reconciliations, project documentation, permitting, schedule compliance and construction monitoring activities.
This position will be focusing on a University Student Life project that includes student housing, recreation, and dining.
Maintains project-related documents including drawings, project binders, client correspondences, meeting minutes, action items, invoices, and similar items.
Assists with project-related financial issues including budget monitoring, revenue and expense tracking, reconciliation, and reinburesment processing.
Researches, analyzes and presents project-related data to project managers and executives so that they may make informed decisions on methodologies, strategies, or required tasks.
Prepares and distributes correspondences to include meeting minutes, project summaries, reports, and financial information.
Maintains project-related website postings.
Follows up as needed on project-related tasks such as permit processing, utility scheduling, and FF&E coordination.
Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
Performs quality control activities that ensure error-free reporting to clients to include editing for content and proofreading for grammar.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have a bachelors degree or be a fourth year student studying architecture or related field.
- Directly related work experience in architectural, construction management, or engineering field is highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with Autocad, Revit or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing and responding to day-to-day issues as required.
