POSITION: Project Lead

This position is for a Project Lead and the place of performance for this work will be in Huntsville, AL .

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)

This position is responsible for performing logistics analyses, maintain/update information management systems and provide logistics support related to the operational objectives of the customer. This position requires experience in the management of projects. The candidate will work with a team to meet all schedules, performance objectives, and reporting requirements of the task to include logistics sustainment, planning, and coordination of effort. This position requires interface with the government customer and/or designated representative and leading various task order activities.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of the FAR/DoD regulations, including requirements to be knowledgeable of the overall organization, direction, and requirements to the contract. The Project Leader should also be knowledgeable with the program acquisition life cycle process. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Required Skills

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree and fifteen (15) or more years of experience in managing projects.

Knowledgeable of the program acquisition life cycle process.

Knowledgeable of the FAR/DoD regulations.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Knowledge of logistics, management, and analysis.

Ability to work well with and lead a team.

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Must be computer proficient and have experience with Microsoft Office.

Experience working with Non-Standard Rotary Wing Aircraft (NSRWA) is a plus.

Education

Bachelors Degree in a task related field from an accredited college or university.
