24+ months contract for a Project Management Analyst in Mossville, IL
: The key role of a Project Management Analyst within the project
management office is that of contributor to the planning and delivery of a project.
: The position will be accountable for contributing to the project
initiation, planning and control for complex components, subsystems or processes.
: This position performs complex project planning, identifies critical
issues, and drives the project team to resolve gaps and problems.
: Incumbents may work directly with different business units,
suppliers, customers and/or other teams.
: This requires the ability to communicate information in a concise
and accurate manner.
: Decisions made may affect the project team and its delivery of the project.
: Provides input for staffing and support of programs and creates
accurate and detailed schedules.
: Specific work assignment may be as follows; plan and lead program and project
: The incumbent will function independently in leading a large diverse
program or project planning session.
: Responsibilities also include preparation and pre-work for the
session as well as follow up and action ownership.
: The position will mentor/coach the leadership team and address
leadership issues one-on-one with senior divisional and department management.
: The incumbent must be able to control a planning session, stop any
side bar conversations constructively, and keep the team focused on the objectives.
: This project management position must be able to successfully hand
off projects to Project Coordinators.
: The incumbent must also mentor/train Program Coordinators.
: Project Management experience with minimum 1 year experience where
the candidate's primary role was in project planning and scheduling, using Critical Path Methodology (CPM) with a Project Scheduling Software Tool (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), Professional Communication skills, both verbal and written,
: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint).
: Must be a self-starter with strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
: Primavera experience, Project Meeting Facilitation in corporate
environment, Process / Work Experience, Project cost management experience, Resource loading/portfolio resource management experience.
Other Desirable Qualifications:
: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field (IT, Engineering),
Primavera Database Administration, Project Management Professional
(PMP) Certification, MS Project experience.
: The candidate should have the ability to adapt to diverse business climates.
