Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online (WDPRO)is the digital media arm of Parks and Resorts segment. Through our award-winning websites, we provide a digital portal to magical travel destinations such as the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, the Disneyland® Resort in California and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort . At WDPRO, we also have designed and created websites for Disney Cruise Line , Adventures by Disney and Disney Vacation Club .

Responsibilities
Project Management Interns experience the full software development lifecycle of small and large scale web projects. Interns assist the Project Management team in the day-to-day deliverables and execution. Supporting Managers of Production, Project Managers, and Website Producers with daily needs such as booking conference rooms, preparing detailed tracking lists, helping to build out surveys, following-up on key action items, and preparing meeting notes. You will also work with the executive team in production to understand process requirements and changes. As well as assist with the implementation of these new processes and in the creation and maintenance of tools that will help estimate, track and analyze projects. Tools may include project "punch lists", estimators, trackers, etc.

Basic Qualifications

Senior, recent graduate within the last 6 months, or post grad level

Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate with a BS/BA degree in Digital Media, Advertising, and/or Marketing, with a strong Technical track, or Web Design and Development

Proficient in MS Office Suite - specifically Word and PowerPoint

Some knowledge of web site development including HTML, Content Management, and Photoshop

Excellent time management skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Organized and calm under pressure

Ability to juggle many projects and people at once

Ability to assess cause and affect relationships on multiple levels

Solutions oriented

Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work with a bicoastal team

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Excel skills preferred, including VBA for Excel

Additional Information

Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter or have graduated within the last 6 months(spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability for up to one year

Must provide own transportation to/from work

Program Length:
The approximate dates of this internship are May 2013 through May 2014. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
