The Ventures organization within Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced and talented project management specialist to work efforts in the Carbon Capture Program. The objective of the Carbon Capture Program is to build and demonstrate a modular scaled prototype for field operations of a carbon capture facility for an existing enhanced oil recovery (EOR) pipeline. The Carbon Capture for EOR Project Management Specialist is accountable for the day to day successful execution of the Contract Research And Development contract accounts and all subcontracts. This person is expected to interact with internal and external engineering, review activities, business and functional leadership for all technical and programmatic matters in support of the Program Director. Responsibilities include: Performing the overall Customer Account Manager (CAM) activities on the program (ensure performance to plan. Provide the day to day direction of the technical team (communication up and down. Delivery of all formal and informal products required. Coordinate and qualify control of a non-advocate review process (if needed). Support the interface and reviews with internal and external leadership. Act, as required as a surrogate for the Program Director. The successful candidate will have proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008).
