Currently, Nutrisystem is seeking a smart, talented Project Manager to join our growing Digital team. The successful candidate will possess a passion for creating flexible processes and procedures that result in launching web and mobile projects on time and within budget guidelines.

Position Summary:
The role of the Project Manager, Digital is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also help define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management. •
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end •
Collaborate with team members, senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives. •
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents •
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion •
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis •
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals •
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary •
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company •
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make appropriate recruitment recommendations as needed during project cycle •
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders •
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel •
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team •
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path •
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools •
Track project milestones and deliverables •
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as appropriate •
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas •
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans •
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle •
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, while building business relationships vital to the success of the project •
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements •
Develop and maintain best practices, tools and processes for project execution and management

Education: Bachelor’s degree; PMI Certification a plus •
Experience: 5+ years experience in a digital project management capacity, including all aspects of process development, execution and personnel management. •
Proficiency: Candidate must be able to demonstrate highly developed and methodical decision making skills in addition to being able to fully comprehend and implement workflow and/or processes into the operation processing environment. •
Abilities: Facilitate multiple priorities with tight deadlines, possess analytical and problem solving skills, detail oriented and able to work well within given parameters. •
Computer Skills: Minimum of 5 years experience with the following: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint. Familiarity of Visio a plus. Must be willing to learn, understand and apply new technologies. •
Communicator: Comfortable addressing supervisors, customers, vendors and other customer service team members in both written and verbal capacities; Must be able to read communication styles of team members and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines; able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including; upper management, clients and other departments. •
Collaboration: Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as independently while able to adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Must be able to persuade, encourage, and motivate team members to remain solution-oriented and results-driven. •
Physical Demands An ability to work the shift assigned plus week end days if/when assigned. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Sitting for extended periods of time may be necessary. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects is necessary. Must be physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations and meetings. Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management. •
Work Environment Needs to work well under pressure by demonstrating scheduling flexibility, political sensitivity and an ability to effectively prioritize and execute projects and tasks.
