Currently, we are seeking an Installation Administrator in the Installation Services Department to work in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Principal responsibilities:
This position is responsible for spearheading the timely and accurate installation of qualified retirement plans, including full service and investment-only products. This position is also responsible for providing client service throughout the installation process.

Project Management:

Spearheading the successful installation of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans


Developing and monitoring installation project plans, managing to agree upon deliverable dates and timetables, and coordinating internal and external resources during the installation


Ensuring successful hand-off from Pension Offices (sales) to Services and Operation (ongoing administration)


Overseeing and monitoring partner record keeping set-up, allocation, first deposits, and accounting statements


Ensuring plans are in compliance with all current federal and state legislation


Consulting with clients, as well as their attorneys and consultants, on plan underwriting and technical issues


Achieving client service standards


Trouble-shooting installation programs


Setting the stage for post-installation plan administration and services


Overseeing the creation, assemble and delivery of enrollment materials in a timely and accurate manner


Managing the preparation of all documentation related to plans and contracts, including employee disclosure material required to establish a new retirement plan


Assisting in the evaluation of new and potential takeover business, identifying business risks, and determining compatibility


Consulting with client and Pension Office recommendations regarding compliance

We’re looking for a person who meets these requirements:

3-5 (or more) years of relevant experience in customer service, preferably in the retirement services industry


Must have above average skills on MS Word and Excel


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Ability to work in a team environment and influence internal partners


Strong client focus


Must be able to maintain flexible hours to service clients during business hours in different time zones


Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment


Solid problem solving skills
