Nordstrom Direct’s Search/SEO Team is looking for a Project Manager, Search Engine Optimization. The Project Manager will be a key contributor to the team’s mission to capitalize on the massive opportunity to grow natural search traffic to Nordstrom.com
The successful candidate will have sharp analytical skills, a passion for customer experience, and the ability to drive the delivery of enterprise-scale results. They will be an expert in classic SEO best practices as well as being a creative big thinker who can strategize for long term SEO growth.
The successful candidate will relish diving deep into SEO-relevant data, building cases for prioritizing projects to grow natural search in terms of traffic, customer engagement and sales. They will work closely with the SEO Manager of the Search/SEO team and partner with teams in web analytics, user experience, on-line marketing, blog and social media. They will actively engage other business and technical teams across the organization by educating key contributors and to ensuring that all SEO projects are delivered with great agility and no compromise on the highest SEO and user experience standards.
Engage with various stakeholders to build strategies to drive SEO improvements
Help define the SEO team's priorities and roadmap
Define and execute content strategies that leverage linking opportunities
Work with appropriate teams to turn strategies into specific initiatives
Measure and report the success of SEO initiatives
Analyze SEO channel performance and evolve the key SEO metrics as needed
3+ years of experience in eCommerce marketing and/or digital marketing
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years working in search engine optimization at enterprise scale
2+ years in project management
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize efforts, and achieve results with a strong sense of urgency
Outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business and product development partners
Strong project and program management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to interact effectively in a cross-functional team
