DataCede Staffing seeks a Project Manager for our client in Branchville NJ This is a long term contract with a possible right to hire We are unable to sponsor or transfer H1B candidates at this time Those authorized to work in the US without restriction are encouraged to apply The Project Manager defines appropriate technical solutions for business initiatives and directs the design development and delivery of business solutions This effort includes control of overall project scope budget and resources The Project Manager is challenged with defining appropriate technical solutions for business initiatives and directing the design development and delivery of business solutions This effort includes control of overall project scope budget and resources Responsibilities Lead largescale crossfunctional projects to align IT with business strategies Lead multiple projects (as assigned) effectively and efficiently Coordinate with Demand and business unit representatives to define and evaluate business technology needs and project feasibility Act as an innovation thought partner to explore alternative options to solve a business need Estimate project resource including analysts programmers user personnel consultants equipment etc Aid in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or changes to existing ones Manage approved project cost within defined thresholds Maintain accountability of budget management for assigned project(s) Manage “virtual project teams” consisting of technical expertise drawn from ITS business groups and thirdparty resources throughout the organization Meet project objectives by monitoring and measuring progress and taking corrective action when necessary in accordance with the standard methodology defined by the Project Management Office Prepare and present project status reports to the Project Management Office resolve issues and manage project risks identify and track major milestones Support all ongoing efforts within the Selective Project Management Office to further advance the definition of a standard Project Life Cycle Methodology in accordance with PM Practice within Selective Serve as a SME on PM Practice including but not limited to training others and sharing knowledge Responsible to identify and obtain training as needed Participate (if invited) as a member of the PM Center of Excellence to provide and influence the PM Practice opportunities Review documentation Ensure it is complete acceptable and in accordance with established standards Aid in the continuous improvement of the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process Required Skills Minimum 10 years related experience with MSProject expertise andor enterprisewide Project Management tools experience with MS Project Server and MS SharePoint Demonstrated financial acumen (budgeting costbenefit analysis ROI etc) Strong track record of successful implementation of business systems in an IT environment Track record of having managed all key phases of a Software Development Life Cycle exposure to Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies and tools For immediate consideration send your resume to candidatedatacedecom mailtocandidatedatacedecom Project Manager, MS Project
