Job Description

Title: Project manager
Location: Morristown NJ

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Interview process: 2 rounds (phone interview and F2F interview)

Project Manager

Plans out and leads projects from inception through deployment, providing day to day management & oversight of project resources, tasks, issues, timelines, cost, and scope. Acts as primary contact and effectively communicates with all project stakeholders including customers, vendors, internal resources, and executive management about project needs & activities. Capable of providing key analytical support including gathering requirements, writing specifications, documenting business processes, and participating in design discussions when needed.

Qualifications

Requirements :
Commercial P&C Insurance Experience

Strong Project Management skills

Sharp analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Experience managing enterprise wide projects such as policy / claim system implementations or premium/claim interfaces

Proficient in Microsoft desktop software (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.)

Experience with Agile type project methodologies

Experience with Accenture Duck Creek (and/or similar configurable policy administration systems strongly preferred

Strong analytical skills and business process re-engineering skills

Ability to interact with senior and technology management, and work within a large, matrix organization model

Broad knowledge of IT solutions within the Insurance industry

Bachelors Degree required
