As part of our global strategy, Faithful+Gould is further expanding its existing capability in the provision of project management. To continue to meet the high expectations and demand from our Oil and Gas clients in Houston, we are currently seeking to appoint a Project Manager to apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage project teams on conventional and unconventional projects.
Your role will encompass the development and growth of this business within our existing clients, as well as supporting the development of new market opportunities.
You will also perform the basic project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management and marketing assistance.
A Bachelors degree in engineering or the equivalent is required.
At least 2 years of direct project management experience,
oil and gas preferred
Good communication, documentation and influencing skills.
Familiar with a variety of the Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures
A demonstrable track record of success in managing projects.
Must have a solid working knowledge of modern methodologies of project management.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong process orientation and good organizational skills with attention to details
Proficiency with MS Project or similar project management tool
Experience in working with multi-site development projects and, ideally, working with multi-national development organizations.

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Preferred candidates will have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
