The role of the Project Manager manages and delivers projects and change for Sales and Service as well as representing Sales and Service on bank wide initiatives. Projects and change may include small internal implementations, issue resolution and remediation, partner launches and large strategic initiatives.

Key Accountabilities (95%)

Implement project lifecycle methodology throughout all technical and partner related projects

Development of business and technical requirements that encompass all S&S functional areas and applications, including: CCD, BPM, IVR, MIS, Workforce Management, Training, Communications, Risk &Control, and Quality.

Provide detailed project information to S&S functional areas to facilitate completion of project related tasks.

Participate in and lead cross-functional project meetings while documenting, prioritizing, scheduling, and launching project features

Solicit and incorporate feedback from Departmental Leadership when developing and enhancing processes

Provide Training, Communication, MIS Account Management, and Operations Teams with project details required to produce training, procedures, communications, and reporting

Proactively identify, document, and develop plans for mitigating risks

Ensure communication through all projects with those responsible for release management and partner relationship management

Transition completed features to QA for creation and execution of testing. Ensure appropriate test plans are developed and executed.

Post-production quantitative and qualitative analysis of project performance

Build relationships with key business owners in order to continue growing the business

Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues from all departments and all levels across Barclays

Control Objective (5%)

Understand the appropriate Policies & Standards applicable to my role through reading the Code of Conduct and other training allocated to me. Where responsible for risks and controls ensure that these are appropriate and fit for purpose.

Measures:
All mandatory training completed to deadline and understood within given timescales.

Where applicable, all key risks identified, tracked, logged and managed as per the Risk Framework procedures

Where applicable, all key controls to have identified owners, with audit trail of regular review and maintenance together with supporting records.

Where applicable, all risk events (incidents) or control failures to be escalated, investigated, reported and fixed at root cause to prevent reoccurrence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/ or equivalent work experience

4+ years experience in Project Management

2+ years experience in Customer Service Operations Management

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proven persuasion, negotiation, and presentation

Proven interpersonal and Leadership skills

Excellent decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills

Strong prioritization and organizational skills

Results driven, with a commitment to continuous process improvement and quality

Ability to self-direct and motivate with minimal managerial direction.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
