The Project Manager is accountable for accomplishing project objectives within the constraints of the project which include scope and timelines. Responsibilities will also include management of contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and other budget-related items. Managing deliverables includes coordinating efforts of team members from various internal line functions, third-party vendors and consultants for the successful implementation of the project.
Candidate must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask pertinent questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts.
Other core compentencies include:
•Clear understanding of drug safety
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to a team
•Advanced project management skills (project charter, RACI, risk mitigation plan, resource allocation, detailed project plan, etc.)
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and set or negotiate priorities
•Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
•Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and develop creative solutions
•Meeting facilitation and presentation skills
•Demonstrated team leadership and cross-functional teamwork skills
