-Plans out and leads projects from inception through deployment, provides day to day management & oversight of project resources, tasks, issues, timelines, cost, and scope.
-Acts as primary contact and effectively communicates with all project stakeholders including customers, vendors, internal resources, and executive management about project needs and activities
-Provides key analytical support including gathering requirements, writing specifications, documenting business processes, and participating in design discussions when needed.
-Experience managing enterprise wide projects such as policy / claim system implementations or premium/claim interfaces. Experience with Accenture Duck Creek (and/or similar configurable policy administration systems strongly preferred
-Commercial P&C Insurance Experience
-Strong Project Management and analytical skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft desktop software (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.)
-Experience with Agile type project methodologies
-Strong analytical skills and business process re-engineering skills
-Ability to interact with senior and technology management, and work within a large, matrix organization model
-Broad knowledge of IT solutions within the Insurance industry
-Bachelors Degree required
