We work with customers both locally and internationally on projects of various sizes. You are an experienced Project Manager with an extensive track record for delivering on time and on budget in complex and fast moving environments. You like working with customers every day as well as your internal teams. You are comfortable dealing with multiple small projects at once, are very good at multi-tasking, have excellent stakeholder management skills, are comfortable running a change control process and enjoy liaising with a technical delivery team.
Project Manage multiple customer projects concurrently. These are typically short in duration, technical implementations of cutting edge productivity applications such as Atlassian or Zendesk with customizations.
Prepare and manage scope with customers through a complete change control process.
Provide project management consulting to internal development teams and stakeholder management to customers of our services.
Creating and preparing gap analyses, defining project scope and/or identifying alternative business/system solutions.
Develop detailed schedules in our project tracking tools and maintaining status on a weekly/daily basis for IT application development projects/programs.
Collate, store and distribute program budget and cost reports as appropriate, liaising with the Business and Project Leads as required.
Accomplish resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees, communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
Critically analyze current tools, processes and methodologies to identify enhancements for existing project management practices within CustomWare and be prepared to update them accordingly.
Support and participate in project management methodology including its development and review.
Skills and Experience:
Good working knowledge of theory, principles and practices of project lifecycle methodology, project management and software development.
Ability to drive to financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and making recommendations for process improvements.
Track record of delivery of customer-facing technical projects.
Love for delighting customers.
Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
A natural love of organization and keeping people on track.
Solid Project Management experience (5+ years).
Experience with the Zendesk, Atlassian, Box or GoodData product suites.
Experience working with international teams and customers.
Experience with a number of simultaneous projects with an understanding of development life cycle.
An experienced leader who has solid experience in change and people management.
Commercial/business acumen with some experience in a range of commercial sectors, high-technology, or large consulting environments.
Certification in either PMI, Agile, PMBOK or Prince2 Project Management Disciplines.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related degree
