DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supply Chain Project Manager periodically reviews floor space for footprint optimization & reorganization. This position ensures safety practices are in full compliance concerning asset movement through storage & production areas. The Supply Chain Project Manager develops & leads Kaizen events & projects with an overall goal of maximizing inventory turns, while introducing state of the art equipment & technology to the function. This role, with the assistance of management staff, establishes a budget for equipment & storage items. Successful candidate will supervise a staff, including but not necessarily limited to, those persons receiving inbound freight, disbursing materials using first in, first out methodology to the operation, & managing inventory, including cycle counting. Assists Warehouse Manager in the development & implementation of standardized work, policies, procedures & performance goals. Conducts time studies to insure indirect labor productivity goals are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of both supervisory & project management experience in one or more of the following: logistics services, materials management, & transportation. Previous experience or implementation background with automated warehousing, barcoding and/or RFID systems is a plus.

Excellent analytical & communications skills must possess planning/organizing and leadership skills, & proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field of study. APICS or similar professional certification is a plus.
