Project Manager
We currently have an immediate opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER to join the PERFUMERY DIVISION at our North American headquarters located in PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY

Job Responsibility - Assist as required in the Morning Meeting, receipt of all new sales reports in appropriate system; - Activate projects in system following Morning Meeting and ensure team members are copied with the client brief and all other relevant information; - Call and manage weekly project meetings and update Project Review; - For key projects, establish a detailed timetable using Microsoft Project and issue copies of this to the team; - Issue "Project Update Reports" from system; manage and review pending projects to check that local deadlines are on target; - Close projects in system and ensure that all relevant information is documented. Update project database system and keep a record of all "closed" projects; - Follow-up on all aspects of the brief and accept responsibility that all needs of the client and brief are met (this includes safety, technical, presentations, samples, etc. i.e., all client documentation and on-time); - Run reports for various criteria, i.e., project adoptions, client projects by country, segment, application, etc.; - Ensure that base and market products are requested and obtained on-time; - Support Fragrance Development Managers (FDM's), Sensory, Technical, Marketing & preparation of final client presentations; - Make sure all project team members are copied on all relevant project information throughout the life of the project; - Request all necessary safety and technical documentation, including stabilities; - Ensure that samples are sent on-time to meet client, and affiliate deadlines while minimizing the need for air courier services; - Gatekeeper for key projects; ensuring each key milestone is achieved within the required timings; - Liaise with client, internal team, and international contacts when necessary; - Order oils for "collection" and "stock" purposes via SAP; - Understand and develop records of win/loss ratios by account and specialty (FDM, etc.); - Other duties as assigned

Profile - Bachelor's Degree; business or financial concentration is preferred; - 2+ years' related administration and project experience; - Excellent operations skills (ability to move projects along internally and ability to work with both internal and external customers/vendors to ensure proper operations to ensure client satisfaction); - Great financial data understanding (pricing, profit margins, etc); - Position has growth potential to lead to account management position - must be interested in growing a career in sales (this is not an IS/IT related project development position); - Passion for beauty industry is a plus; - Excellent English skills, spoken and written; Spanish is a plus; - Computer literate (MS Office, knowledge of Firmenich systems is a plus); Proficiency with Excel is required; - Experience with SAP is a plus.
