Job Description:
We are looking for a strong Project Manager in our PMO group to lead an essential project and be an key member of our organization. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to prove your skills and lead our teams on an exciting project.

Reporting to the PMO Program Director, the Project Manager for the Order Motion (OM) project will be a key liaison between stakeholders, customers, business analysts, developers and other team members. The Project Manager will apply best practice project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of the OM project.

Responsibilities include planning activities, resource management, coordinating project execution, and all project reporting requirements.
This position requires strong project management capabilities, effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results.

Specific roles and responsibilities include:
Apply understanding of project management methodologies to ensure the successful implementation of project(s).
Build positive and effective relationships with stakeholders, peers, vendors, and throughout the organization. Key facilitator with company leadership and executives.
Define and deliver clear written and oral communications in all documentation and interactions.
Accurately complete all required documentation based on the SDLC, and in line with PMO standards.
Ensure all expectations are clearly defined, documented, and measureable success points are identified.
Responsible for taking ownership in project planning, management, and delivery.
Apply knowledge to successfully work with OM Program Manager to apply organizational change management.
Provide guidance and leadership to all team members. Act as a mentor and role model for other team members as well.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
As a team builder and leader, resolve all any team conflicts or issues in a timely fashion.
Proactively work with PMO leadership to define, document, and execute:

Scope and objectives
Project planning and assumptions
Resource management
Organizational Change Management
Project communications and documentation
Issue identification, documentation, and resolution
Risk identification, documentation, and resolution
Prioritization and escalation management
Deliverables development and review
Status reporting
Quality in all documents and communication

You will be responsible to lead the development of project plans and communication strategies. All project plans must be in line with the SDLC and follow standard project management methodology.

1) Planning;
2) Design;
3) Build;
4) Test; and
5) Deploy and Support.
Provide leadership in any number of project methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, RUP or others.
Lead development and documentation of all project deliverables and supporting documentation requirements.
Perform Quality Assurance role(s) on project(s) as needed.
Communicate effectively using sound judgment in making decisions, and interacting with a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences. This includes the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including team members, managers, subject matter experts, and executives.
Work consistently professionally, reliably and objectively. Accept ownership for your piece of work.
Lead project completion and project closure activities and documentation.
Proactively promote PMO services to organization where applicable.
Provide constructive feedback to help optimize and streamline PMO procedures and processes.
Some travel will be required initially (25%).
