The Project Manager is responsible for successfully executing a project with a client. The majority of these projects will be related to the initial implementation of TheraDoc software in a healthcare environment. The Project Manager coordinates internal service dependencies to ensure that a project is successful and delivered on schedule. The Project Manager is a leader who knows how to get the best out of the project team. The Project Manager is responsible to mitigate project and corporate risk. The Project Manager is the face of the company to a client and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills; they must act as both client champion and TheraDoc advocate. The Project Manager facilitates communication between the client and TheraDoc, manages issues, and is ultimately responsible for the final decisions related to the success of the project. The successful Project Manager is a collaborator and problem-solver, is both strategic and tactical, and has an ability to work in high-pressure situations. The Project Manager will be expected to provide feedback internally so that tools and process are continually improving.

Skills/Experience Education/Certification
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Responsible for the outcome of a project

  • Effectively get the best out of a project team

  • Coordinate service dependencies by requesting and scheduling TheraDoc services, and assessing the deliverables of those services

  • Tracks overall project status and communicates internally and externally

  • Act as both client champion and TheraDoc advocate

  • Mitigate corporate and project risk

  • Triage and manage issues

  • Primary communicator with the client; facilitate communication as necessary

  • Define scope of work related to a project through a project charter

  • Gather knowledge related to TheraDoc Products in order to be successful

  • Negotiate with client as necessary related to project risks

  • Participate in scheduled on-site meetings with clients

  • Participate in weekly customer conference calls

  • Ultimately final decision maker for a project from TheraDoc’s perspective

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Confident and adaptive

  • Adept at facilitation and conflict management

  • Previous experience and comfort working with client executives, healthcare providers and IT professionals

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented

  • Issue management

  • Tactical and strategic thinking

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Leader, collaborator

  • Enthusiastic; self-motivated

  • Basic clinical knowledge related to HIS systems

  • Basic technical skills (MS Office, etc.) and technical aptitude important; previous experience with SQL queries would be beneficial

  • Experience with healthcare IT desirable

  • Clinical experience desirable, but optional

  • Ability to gain knowledge of TheraDoc products and other applications quickly

  • Ability to succeed in high pressure situations

  • Some travel will be required (25-50%)
