POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple software implementation projects focused on the delivery of TrialMaster Electronic Data Capture (EDC) technology to customers using our Technology Transition model. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for overall project quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES The Project Manager directs, coordinates, and communicates on multiple customer facing technology implementation projects. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison to the OmniComm customer, and is responsible for maintaining consistent communications and creating a collaborative working relationship with the customer. The Project Manager assembles and drives cross-functional project teams, identifies required resources, and delivers detailed project plans to ensure on-time completion of projects. The Project Manager communicates frequently with the customer, the team members and OmniComm Management regarding project status and identifies and resolves project problems, issues, and risks. The Project Manager executes the actions necessary to resolve project problems/issues and reports on mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality. The Project Manager provides weekly status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans and issues to project team members and OmniComm Management. The Project Manager works collaboratively with other Project Managers to identify, develop and implement improvements to project management methodology, tools and standards in order to promote transparency and consistency across all projects in OmniComm Systems. The Project Manager cultivates inter-departmental relationships and promotes a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED BS in Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Operations or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years experience managing technology implementation projects and delivering high quality deliverables to customers. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Life Sciences organization. Working experience and knowledge of full life-cycle associated with project implementation methodologies. Project Management Certification is not required but would be an asset. Prefer knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and experience with applications designed with 21 CFR part 11 compliance. Consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines.

SKILLS NEEDED The Project Manager requires a background managing complex technology delivery and implementation projects, with attention given to detail and accuracy. The Project Manager requires the ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non-technical parties. The Project Manager must have the ability to learn and understand complex software solutions as well as train others in that solution. The Project Manager has excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with all levels within the organization. The Project Manager demonstrates the ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints. The Project Manager demonstrates a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process. The Project Manager utilizes sound and proven project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) and the ability to identify and implement process improvements to deliver projects more efficiently. Outstanding time management and organization skills. Confident team leader and team builder with strong motivational skills. Adept in problem solving and resolving conflict. Able to manage internal customer relationships and expectations, through negotiation and partnering.
