Role Description:
Project Description Smart Manufacturing (SM) Program Summary: Smart Manufacturing (SM) is robust global standard work processes enabled by enterprise-wide technologies and tools to drive operational excellence and improve decision support capability in order to accelerate the journey to sustainable top quartile performance Smart Manufacturings initial focus is Proactive Technical Monitoring (PTM) Project Budget: For each project assigned, the SM PM will be responsible for planning, resourcing and executing the following deliverables: Develop a Project Compliance Plan (PCP) and associated standard project deliverables Work with SM Program Manager and SM PMO to ensure adherence to PCP including: Produce monthly report reflecting actual Baseline, Actuals, LEs, Contingency, status, outlook and risks Obtain necessary stage gate signoffs Document evidence in the program repository (SharePoint and LiveLink) Work with Change Manager to develop change management plans for the project Monitor and manage issues and risks Proactively communicate plans, progress, issues, and improvement opportunities within the program In order to deliver the project, the SM PM will be required to Work with central business and sites to understand business results expected and ensure comprehensive business requirements are captured; Work with the various business and IT organizations to ensure all solutions and their implementations fully meet business requirements to deliver improved business results; Manage resources from and maintain excellent communications with and among disparate groups across Shell to include P&T Engineering, P&T Technology, P&T Technical IT, Downstream IT, TaCIT, Manufacturing Business, Manufacturing Sites, and the SM Program Team Create and foster a team environment that works proactively, anticipates problems, surfaces issues In addition to project responsibilities, the SM PM should also expect to perform tasks as required by the SM Program Manager, e.g. participate in on- and off-boarding of project resources, conduct peer review of deliverables, etc.
