Job Description:

Houston, TX office for a motivated Project Manager. The
successful candidate will be responsible for carrying
out the duties and responsibilities of a project
  • Manage execution of comprehensive federal, state,
and local environmental planning and permitting of
linear utility (oil/liquids and natural gas
pipelines, electric transmission lines, etc.)
projects, nationwide. Prefer experience with
FERC-regulated natural gas projects, as well as
environmental permitting in Texas;
  • Initiate and participate in Business Development
activities, related to a variety of work and client
types, but in particular related to the development
and selling of environmental planning and permitting
  • It is anticipated that assistance will be required
in the business development and performance of work
related to oil and gas as well as a wide variety of
other projects. Employee will be involved with
initiatives ranging from Commercial Energy to
International work;
  • The successful candidate will be primarily
responsible for overall Project and individual Task
Management, including client liaison; agency
liaison; preparation of project execution plans,
field health and safety plans, agency consultation
and correspondence, permitting plans, technical
reports, permit applications, etc.; document quality
assurance/quality control review; and project staff,
task, schedule, and budget management;

other areas depending on the individual's

Job Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental
Science; Master’s degree preferred; with at least 5
years pertinent work experience;
  • Including wetland ecology, wildlife ecology, land
use planning, and/or environmental planning, as well
as multi-faceted environmental permitting;
  • Well-developed leadership qualities;
  • Must have formal or on-the-job PM training.
The position requires regular driving using a company
car, rental car or his/her own car. Individual must
possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving
record without any restrictions.
