Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Full life-cycle project management including requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
•Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
•Maintain and develop strong working relationships withK12 Business Owners as well as internal Systems and Technology groups.
•Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
•Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project.
•Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
•Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel including assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
•Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
•Lead groups of Project Managers and large multidisciplinary teams of highly talented and dedicated professionals all around the world.
•Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
•Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required.
•Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.
•Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
•Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
•Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements.
•Develops quality assurance test plans and directs quality assurance testing.
•Coordinates project activities with marketing, sales, engineering, operations, customer support, and client staff to ensure goals and requirements are met.
•Prepares and presents the statement of work and proposals for identified clients in conjunction with account management.
•Other duties may be assigned.

•Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred
•Five to seven years software project management experience with at least ten years IT experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
•Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
•Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
•Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
•Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Project Management software and Database software, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HTML.
