Position: Project Manager

Home Depot Interiors, is currently seeking a conscientious and dependable Project Manager for our Hayward Branch. Reporting to the Installation Manager, this position will be responsible for providing quality cabinet installation services to customers in a timely, efficient, and economical manner. Key Job Responsibilities include:
  • Travels to the customer’s residence;
  • Accurately measures customers’ kitchen, bathroom or other product;
  • Reviews agreements and other documents with the customer for accuracy and completeness; Enter materials to be ordered into company database;
  • Orders all necessary materials, inspects jobs in progress
  • Meet with customers to help resolve any issues/concerns with their project.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • Measures each job for accurate pricing, construction and installation of all jobs.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Present information to customers, clients and other members of the organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl.
  • Must be able to hear safety warnings.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift.
  • Temperatures vary according to weather conditions.
  • Noise level is moderate to loud
