SBM Offshore is seeking a Project Procurement Administrator (PPA) for its Houston Execution Center. The PPA will primarily be responsible for supporting the Project Procurement Manager and Project Buyers to ensure the following:

Principle Responsibilities

Set up and maintainance of procurement data in the Corporate Database Tool (NADIA) and Project folders

Assist Project Buyers with issuance and follow up of Request for Quotations (RFQ), inclusive of coordination of pre-award and award meetings

Coordination and support Project Procurement team of all aspects of purchasing

Entries of Purchase Requisitions (PR) into NADIA

Follow up on approvals / sign-off cycles until Purchase Order issuance

Expedite PO Acknowledgements and update database

Support in tracking overall procurement cost, progress percentage of deliverables

Tracking all purchase orders status, support Vendor Qualification process

Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve dispute vendor invoices

Prepare applicable Procurement Reportings as required by Project

All tasks and duties as assigned by SBM Offshore Group Management

Qualified candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in relevant subject (no experience required if this is their first job) or two years in purchasing related area

Candidates should have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be organize and detail oriented

Proven analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize issues

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook (Beginner – Intermediate Level)
