The Project Specialist, Clinical Project Services is the immediate customer support mechanism for supporting clinical study sites participating in clinical trials utilizing IXRS technology for centralized subject enrollment, randomization, and drug inventory management. This position also supports Clinical Project Services by performing other IXRS related duties and non IXRS-related duties, such as, training.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs data verification and demonstrates knowledge of assigned study protocols and IXRS specifications

Reports all study specific, site, inventory and sponsor related problems or issues to project team manager

Directs site support and escalate IXRS problem solving support to clinical study site staff

Enters data and maintain clinical study site information in the project specific IXRS databases

Provides IXRS site user training to clinical study site staff

Documents IXRS database changes

Participates in project specific client teleconferences

Performs data entry and verification

Interacts directly with clients to resolve issues and concerns

Conducts training for new hires

Completes ALMAC phone logs via internal tracking system for clinical study site staff telephone calls

Notifies appropriate internal employees of IXR system availability issues

Ensures accurate and timely delivery of site confirmation faxes

Ensures accurate and timely delivery of project reports access to project sponsor

Assists in the development and maintenance of internal IXRS Study User Manuals

Prepares and send IXRS Site User Manuals

Meets individual and company goals as established

Adheres to company and department policies

Communicates regularly to keep everyone informed of what’s going on

Fosters team work among peers

Maintains technical knowledge by attending in house and/or outside professional training and/or reviewing Professional publications

Completes other duties as assigned by management

High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience preferred

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong customer service skills

Ability to operate in project team environment

Strong organizational & analytical skills

Ability to perform multiple project tasks

Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010© products

Normal Business Hours based on a nine hour workday; availability to provide coverage beyond regular business hours during the week.
