You will perform order entry of job lot purchase orders and provide other acknowledgements to customers, coordinate lighting fixture packages and provide various reports to customers from Project Manager software throughout the project period. You will also update shipping schedules, expedite orders, drawings and follow-ups. Address change orders with suppliers and customers, process supplier debit memos, and clear invoice deductions as they relate to job lots. You will also perform returned goods for project orders and file and complete freight claims. Apply job lot billing to current lighting projects, monitor jobs for successful completion.
A college degree or equivalent experience preferred. Two or more years of progressive customer service and a strong knowledge of lighting products desired. Must have a broad knowledge of product lines and services with the ability to make presentations to customers. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact, demonstrable skill at handling and resolving customer complaints, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally. Strong computer skills preferred.
