Job Description

The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the production and implementation of planned promotional and advertising materials for his/her assigned location(s). Works with Market Marketing Manager to implement promotional efforts align with and support the broader strategy and needs of the market.


Works with auction leadership at assigned location(s) to develop promotions that service the needs of location consignors and overall location goals.

Ensuring promotions are delivered on time and within budget. Partners with and takes functional direction from Market Marketing Manager on promotional ideas that support the broader market strategy Plans and executes promotional activities to dealers within the location including print, displays, and signage. Specific Duties; Advertising: Maintains location website and ensures that an effective and approved Social Media presence is in place. Coordinates development of onsite signage/ads.

Ensures that effective auction/lane signage and décor are in place for the location. Specific Duties: Promotions:

Develops and implements Key Account promotional design at location. Implements market-specific and location promotions.

Tracks giveaways and promotional item inventory. Works in-lane promotions for commercial and dealer accounts. Performs other duties as assigned to support Manheim customers.


High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic arts, or advertising preferred. 1-2 years of marketing/promotions and customer service experience; previous experience in the auto industry highly preferred.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required. Effective organizational skills required. Knowledge of MS Office products and layout/design software necessary.

Good computer skills and fundamental graphic arts knowledge is essential. Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment; ability to work under pressure with time constraints; ability to work effectively in a constantly changing work environment.

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception.

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust, and fumes in auction lanes. Internal candidates are preferred Applicants within market territory preferred.
