EOE & AA Employer M/F/D/V Property Marketing Specialist position available for an in-house commercial real estate marketing communications group. Candidate must have at least five years related work experience in commercial real estate marketing and be comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment. Should have an understanding of branding and how to implement corporate brand standards. Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a design team, possess outstanding delegation, project coordination, time management and people skills and be able to communicate with multiple levels of management. Exceptional writing, editing, conceptualization, proofreading and grammatical skills are a must. Project Management Skills: Meet with brokers to gather project requirements Develop a strategic plan based on brokerage goals Coordinate projects with brokers and designers Assist design team in gathering project information Manage project schedules & budgets to ensure on-time delivery within budget Coordinate advertising and PR services with internal resources and vendors Writing & Project Development Responsibilities: Writer, editor, and proofreader for creative team Develop copy for print, web, interactive media, advertising, PR, by-line articles, newsletters and presentations Work with design team to develop project information Work with broker teams to develop content for proposals and marketing materials Develop project marketing plan and prepare budgets

Qualifications:
Background/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism Five years related real estate experience, commercial preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills Self-motivated, diligent work ethic with high productivity level A proactive nature to seek out and develop new marketing opportunities Excellent organizational skills and the ability to give detailed attention to several concurrent projects Technical Skills: PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, InDesign, Acrobat Knowledge of Macintosh and any of the following software are a plus: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, MS Access, ACT, REA, Sketch-up Photography and video skills are a plus (building/inside spaces) Occasional travel may be required. Position is based in down Chicago, but regular travel to suburban offices; car required.
