**Please note: This position is with Nova, a division of Independent Health Corporation (a subsidiary of Independent Health).**

The Proposal Coordinator shall be primarily responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely collection of data for creation of sales and current client oriented proposals within the required timeframes. The Proposal Coordinator will assist with all proposal generation (self-funded medical, dental, vision and ancillary services including FSA, HRA, COBRA, etc.) both standard and custom. In addition, this position will have primary responsibility for auditing Request for Proposal (RFP) answers, and creating and maintaining monthly reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or seven years of experience in RFP operations, communications or the sales/marketing field in lieu of degree.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to problem solve, communicate and deal effectively with all levels of management. Writing and editing experience preferred.

  • Maintains confidentiality and uses only the minimum amount of protected health information (PHI) necessary to accomplish job related responsibilities.

  • Other duties as needed. Every associate is given a job description upon hire outlining the qualifications, duties, and pay grade of the position. Nova reserves the right to change job descriptions as necessary.

  • One to three years of experience in marketing, sales, product management, or comparable project management experience required.

  • Knowledge of the self-funded health products. Thorough understanding and knowledge of Nova’s product portfolio a plus.

  • Exemplary organizational, time management and interpersonal abilities with attention to detail a must. Demonstrated ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate in a team work atmosphere and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent presentation skills required.

  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required. Knowledge of access mapping software applications a plus.
