This position is responsible for providing critical support for the project procurement process. Provides support for all market sector groups towards the pursuit of new business, and other key company-wide initiatives. Overall responsibilities include ensuring brand continuity for DAVIS through collaborative and detail driven proposal and research coordination .

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Understand RFP/RFQ requirements to ensure compliance; coordinate sub consultant information and team reviews
  • Coordinate team in all stages of proposal response production; develop RFP/ RFQ response layout, production (collect + compile all information) and final delivery
  • Disseminate information regarding proposal interview times and locations to relevant parties – keep market sector groups on track
  • Advise relevant team members of new opportunities tracking information
  • Stay current with DAVIS projects, potential projects, and staffing
  • Assist with the client, project and opportunity data tracking process within CRM database
  • Contribute to the teams broader marketing efforts + initiatives through thought leadership and continual expertise development
  • Support corporate marketing / communications
  • Proactively coordinate updates of standard and proposal materials i.e. resumes, references, experience charts, project information
  • Provide writing, editing, and proof-reading support
  • Ensure that all information is current, comprehensive, and accurate i.e. calculate and maintain project characteristics, locations, clients, revenue/profit/SF etc.
  • Manage web focused project information through CRM database
  • Assist Market Leaders to identify proposal and research needs, and ensure follow-up + effective communication to relevant team members
  • Collaborate with relevant team members to ensure that DAVIS Market Leaders have timely research information to ensure their business plans are up-to-date
  • Proactivly Provide project awards/development information for internal and external communication + global distribution
  • Maintain and maximize personal membership and event participation with key industry organizations i.e. APMP, SMPS
  • Understand DAVIS service, differentiators, experience, personnel information, and history

Required Experience Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • At least two (2) years of previous experience; must have a solid level of experience and understanding of private + public sector proposal process; GSA proposal forms and other technical government proposal preparation
  • Excellent level of skill + Experience using MS Office 2010, various graphics and presentation programs Adobe CS5, Acrobat 9 Pro, Prezi)
  • Strong A/E/C technical writing experience
Preferred experience:
  • Solid understanding of A/E/C industry, but able to offer a different perspective
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and/or LEED accredited
  • Interest in sustainability and community service
Physical job demands: Reaching above and below, stooping and bending. Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, files, and performs specialized skills. Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy office environment.

Working conditions: Office environment. Some travel required. After work hours: events / deadlines
