position supports proposal development, authoring, and the timely production of proposal responses for technical RFP/Qs & bids for electronic complex assembly, circuit card assembly, wire harness assembly, and integration.
Duties:
Support the development, preparation & presentation of written proposals
Produce winning proposals, including multi-volume large-effort proposals & small to medium proposals as needed
Responsible for proposal organization, flow, writing/editing quality assurance & overall bid management
Analyze RFP documents, develop compliant & customer-friendly outlines/matrices
Coordinate activities with Capture Management, Contracts, Engineering, Pricing & other support functions to ensure fully-compliant bid response
Write, edit & direct proposal sections and authors as defined by outline, contributing to win themes, executive summaries, graphics & strategy
Edit & re-write for flow, grammar & readability as one voice
Verify that response is consistent with solicitation proposal instructions, response format & structure
Take proposal through review processes, ensuring each change is fully complete & inserted as applicable
Manage proposal meetings, action items, calendar, master proposal document
Support production of proposal (binders, spines, covers, dividers, boxing, packaging, etc.)
Requires:
Bachelor's in a relevant field of engineering, science, or manufacturing
2+ years of high-level RFP/Q experience in relevant industry
Ability to edit/rewrite proposals to ensure readability & compliance, without distorting original intent
