This position provides critical support for the project procurement process and pursuit of new business. Overall responsibilities include ensuring brand continuity for DAVIS through collaborative and detail driven proposal coordination. Must champion + maintain DAVIS’ brand standards across the board.

Essential duties + responsibilities
  • Understand RFP/RFQ requirements to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate proposal response production; develop RFP/ RFQ response layout, coordinate draft materials; production (collect + compile all information) and final delivery
  • Ensure that all information is current, comprehensive, and accurate
  • Coordinate presentation formatting and content development specific to each proposal + set of client touch points
  • Stay current with DAVIS projects, potential projects, and staffing and understand DAVIS’ services, differentiators, experience, personnel information, and history
  • Disseminate information regarding proposal deadlines, interview times and locations to relevant parties – help keep market sector groups on task
  • Assist with the client, project and opportunity data tracking process within CRM database
  • Provide writing, editing, and proof-reading support
  • Coordinate templates, checklists and boilerplate documents to support the proposal development infrastructure and maintain proposal quality management
  • Update marketing knowledge base consisting of project descriptions, employee resume + biographies, professional award + certification documents
  • Contribute to the teams broader marketing efforts + initiatives
Required Skills
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent level of skill + experience using MS Office 2010, various graphics and presentation programs (e.g. Adobe CS5, Acrobat 9 Pro, Prezi)
  • Strong analytical and research skills, both collaboratively and individually
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience writing, editing, and proof-reading
  • Must possess a positive, can do attitude
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • At least two (2) years of previous experience ; must have a solid level of experience and understanding of private + public sector proposal process
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Solid understanding of A/E/C industry, but able to offer a different perspective
  • Strong A/E/C technical writing experience
  • GSA proposal forms and other technical government proposal preparation
  • Strong ability to write creatively and to appeal appropriately to each audience with each message
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and/or LEED accredited
  • Interest in sustainability and community service
