Yulista Holding, LLC. is seeking a Proposal Manager in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Proposal Manager, you will be required to read and understand requirements cited within US Government Solicitations and develop winning proposals to Yulista answers those requirements. The Proposal Manager will be responsible to ensure that compliance matrices and templates are provided to personnel (Yulista and Consultants) at the onset of each proposal and capture plan being developed. The selected candidate will be responsible for configuration management of all written proposals prior to submission to Yulista Contracts. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the state of the art graphics are added to Yulista proposals. These graphics must add clarity to the proposal at all times of usage. Furthermore, this position is vital to the overall performance of the BD team that supports several Yulista Companies. This position will support and work with both Aviation and Base Operation Capture managers and all Yulista companies to ensure up to date inputs and support functions are executed in a manner that provide Yulista Executive Management with current information to assist in strategic and tactical decisions. The Proposal Manager will be in constant communication with team member proposal managers, consultants, and capture managers to ensure an outstanding product is delivered to clientele. Furthermore, the Proposal Manager will update the Directors of BD, Contracting, and Finance with pertinent information that will assist in their decisions on all matters relating to the proposal effort. Specifically, the Proposal Manager will perform the following duties:
In concert with the assigned Capture Manager, Proposal Manager (Consultant or Yulista Employee), develops and coordinates proposal templates, themes and graphics to be utilized to ensure that all Proposals are meeting pre-determined milestones and are of the highest quality to ensure proposals are not found to be technically unacceptable.
Assists Yulista Capture Managers with the coordination of proposal activities and ensures all proposal phases are executed upon approved proposal schedules. Directly responsible for the format and final editing prior to Pink, Red, and Gold reviews.
Works with graphic artists to ensure that state of the art graphics are utilized in proposals and responses to solicitations.
In concert with the Director of Business Development, ensure compliance matrices are developed for each proposal that is to be performed by Yulista. Additionally, ensure that these compliance matrices are provided as material for Proposal Kick-Off Meetings.
Provide the Director of Business Development with weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual status updates on specially assigned projects.
Assist the Director of Business Development in the tracking of Manpower and Staffing to better assess the requirement for hiring new employees or consultants.
Work in concert with each individual subsidiary company to assist them with any effort as it relates to Business Development.
In concert with YHC Contracts, ensure that all documents that are to be sent out of Yulista in an official capacity are vetted through a defined quality process prior to the document being sent to customers or internal management for review.
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Business Development, Vice President and President of Yulista Holding if required.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office Suite to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
At least 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of experience in preparing proposals for high-value contracts of $30 million or more.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
Must have the ability to provide portfolio of wins.
Current knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to successfully handle overlapping projects, tight deadlines, and changing priorities.
Experience in US Government Contracting.
Technical writing experiences.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Experience with proposal development software and collaboration software.
Knowledge of and training in the Shipley Proposal process.
