Division & Project Overview
The Business Development Division provides ongoing and active management and administrative support in business development activities, which includes overseeing tracking/improving and/or actively identifying new business development opportunities and insuring that the business and proposal budgets are developed and monitored. Business Development Division also participates in proposal development and proposal writing (corporate capability statements, blurbs, and profiles for Project Proposals), including participating in recruitment of consultants and short-term program staff, identification of partners and teaming discussions and/or lead in continuous process improvement activities to improve program and business development processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:
General Summary: reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Proposal Production Specialist provides desktop publishing, graphic design, and production for new business proposals and marketing projects in a fast-paced environment with strict client deadlines.
· Perform document layout, desktop publishing, design of graphics, digital printing, and advanced file preparation for offset printing requirements.
· Assume responsibility for production of proposals, including working with proposal coordinators to prepare hard copy and e-copy documents required for submission to various donors.
· Design proposal charts and graphics with guidance from proposal coordinator and technical writers.
· Ensure formatting compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
· Prepare and/or oversee submission materials (binders, shipping materials, labels, etc).
· Implement and/or oversee copy editing/proofreading of proposals.
· Design and complete final production of communications and marketing projects, including print and electronic material
· Develop graphic themes and lays out documents, posters, presentation materials, announcements, and other projects.

· Create templates (cover, narrative template, CV template, etc.) based on URC and client-specific branding guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience & Qualifications
Note : You must currently be eligible to work long-term in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
· Advanced Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
· At least 3 years of proven experience in Graphic Design and/or Desktop Publishing (such as editing, lay-out and publishing for newspaper, marketing materials, etc.).
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Proven organizational and time management skills; superior attention to detail.
· Ability to write and verbally communicate clearly and concisely.
· Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team.

· Flexible schedule, availability to work late evenings and weekends.
