Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Proposal Writer will play a key role in creating and answering RFP/RFIs. The writer will use necessary resources within Trend Micro to answer proposals with utmost accuracy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Template Design – Develop a model to optimize responses to RFP/RFI that are in a uniform presentation for consistency and speed of delivery.

RFP/RFI Submission – Answering incoming requests in a timely fashion with both technical and marketing interpretations. Answers must be more in depth and influencing versus a user manual response.

Coordination with Resources – Outstanding questions will need to be worked with the specific product managers, sales, support, legal, finance or any other department deemed necessary.

Database Management – Keeping a resource database of responses for use in future requests, as well as, tracking of what products are being requested most often


The person will have wide-range experience and will use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways by analysis of situations or data through an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. This position will interact with Sales Directors and other senior personnel within the US and global sales regions.
  • Excellent written communication skills - Minimum 2 - 4 years experience in proposal/grant writing
  • BS degree in Marketing, English, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in using Word, Excel, and template design
  • Must be well organized to keep track of multiple proposals and collecting data
  • Basic understanding of the networking and security industries desirable.
