Job Purpose: Under general supervision, this position interacts directly with prospective tenants to schedule leasing tours for Leasing Agents. Acts as the conduit for leasing department by conveying the benefits of the property to prospective tenants in an effort to schedule an appointment (inbound calls).
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide information about the buildings and properties to the prospective tenant; schedule visits to the properties. Qualify prospects and determine which property meets the client's qualifications, if a specific property is not requested. Maintain an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the properties, particularly in areas such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, lease expirations, square footage, etc. Help with initiated chats from website Make upselling calls for Dallas markets Follow-up on all "dead" leads on a monthly basis in an attempt to regain interest from the prospects All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal laws that pertain to office/retail building management and tenant rights. Demonstrated strong work ethic and exhibit initiative to work independently Demonstrated high level of organizational skills paying close attention to detail Demonstrates multi-tasking and time management skills Awareness of safety, risk management and preventative maintenance procedures. Project planning ability within a budget and required time frame Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with customers Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
Education and Experience: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of sales experience required; previous commercial experience highly desired Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Other Qualifications: · Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen · Employee must have reliable transportation to and from work each day
