New Directions Behavioral Health is seeking a Provider Relations Coordinator to work in our Kansas City, MO office. The Provider Relations Coordinator will be responsible for credentialing and re-credentialing network providers.

The Provider Relations Coordinator’s Key Responsibilities include:

Assist in the development of networks of mental health providers by telephoning individuals and hospitals (hospitals, clinics, medical centers) to determine the services offered.

Credentialing and re-credentialing providers/facilities and enter demographic information into CACTUS software.

Communicate in writing and by telephone with regulatory agencies, insurance companies, education organizations and others to verify information.

Perform other duties to support other Network Operations accountabilities.

Required Qualifications:
Two years of college with some office work experience, or three years credentialing experience in lieu of college

Proficient in computer software such as Word, Excel

Good, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Well organized and detail conscious

Preferred Qualifications:
College degree

Work experience in a setting that required compliance with JCAHO or NCQA standard

Medical records training

CACTUS software experience
